Welcome to the Winona Ice Climbing Festival !
The Winona Ice Fest is a collaborative event between the City of Winona, the Recreation Alliance of Winona, and Big River Climbing Guides.
We are so excited to host our 3rd annual ice festival and can’t wait to celebrate the Winona Ice Park and ice climbing with a bunch of friends new and old! We are thankful to everyone who supported our first two years and look forward to seeing more smiling faces this coming year!

Ice Fest FAQs
Where do I check in for a clinic?
Ice fest clinic check in is at the vendor village/ Ice park parking lot. Look for the clinic check in sign and volunteers will help you get started!
Where do I pick up my ice fest registration packet?
The registration station will be located at Two Fathoms Brewery in Downtown Winona. You can pick up your packet Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 9am-Close. You do not need to check in at the registration station before a clinic.
How does the free transit work on Friday & Saturday?
Another benefit of registering for the ice fest is the option to leave your car at home and ride free in-town transit. The ice fest transit bus will run in a continuous loop Friday and Saturday from 8am-6pm. Pick-up/drop off locations are downtown and teh ice park trailhead.
Volunteer for the Fest!
Volunteering for the fest is fun and serves as a critical role of the ice fest’s success and growth! Volunteer opportunities will open up as we get closer to the fest! Stay tuned in!
